The Association of Education Researchers and Trainers (ASSERT) could claim publication of first-ever scholarly article on Outcome-Based Education (ONE) Assessment in the Philippines.

In a Facebook post, the Philippine Educational Measurement and Evaluation Association (PEMEA) recognized the work of ASSERT Interim President Dr. Jonathan V. Macayan published in PEMEA’s research journal, the Educational Measurement and Evaluation Review (EMER), the Philippines’ leading assessment and evaluation research journal.

Dr. Macayan article entitled, “Implementing Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Framework: Implications for Assessment of Students’ Performance,” appears as the flagship article of EMER’s Volume 8 Issue 1 published in July 2017.

The article, deeply rooted in Outcome-Based Education philosophy and principles, can be downloaded for free via this link.
